INGREDIENTS :

For Stuffing

  1. Spinach– 120g-kept in Fridge Smart

  2. Corn cubs-1/4 Tropical Twin

  3. Onion (sliced&sauteed)–1

  4. Cheese—15g

For White Sauce

  1. Refined wheat flour—1 tbsp

  2. Butter—1 tbsp

  3. Milk– 1 Tropical Twin

  4. Salt,pepper and mustard power to taste

For Pie Base

  1. Refined wheat flour– 1 Tropical Twin

  2. Oregano– 1/4tsp

  3. Salt– a dash

  4. Butter– 2 tbsp

  5. Milk– 3-4tbsp

  6. Baking powder– a pinch

TOTAL TIME : 15 minutes

STEPS :

For The Pie Base

  1. Combine flour,baking powder, and oregano in a deep Bowl.

  2. Mix in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  3. Add milk ,one tbsp at a time,until dry ingredients are moistened,shape dough into a ball. Divide the dough into two parts to make 2 pie bases.

  4. Roll out on a lightly floured surface to form and cover the inside base of a Clear Bowl (Medium) with this pie base.

  5. Poke some holes on the pie base and microwave by adding some beans on top for 2-3 minutes until light brown.

For white sauce

  1. Put butter in a nonstick pan.Cook flour in it till golden brown. Allow it to cool a little.

  2. Pour in milk white Stirring continuously. Add salt,pepper and mustard powder.

For Quiche

  1. Steam and dry the spinach in a Multicook Strainer.

  2. Put a layer of dried spinach on the baked pie dish followed by a layer of sauteed onions and corn cubs over it.

  3. Spread the white sauce over the vegetables and add some cheese on top.Microwave uncovered for 2 minutes.

  4. Serve hot topped with tabasco sauce.
