INGREDIENTS :
For Stuffing

Spinach– 120g-kept in Fridge Smart

Corn cubs-1/4 Tropical Twin
-
Onion (sliced&sauteed)–1

Cheese—15g
For White Sauce
-
Refined wheat flour—1 tbsp
-
Butter—1 tbsp
-
Milk– 1 Tropical Twin
-
Salt,pepper and mustard power to taste
For Pie Base
-
Refined wheat flour– 1 Tropical Twin
-
Oregano– 1/4tsp
-
Salt– a dash
-
Butter– 2 tbsp
-
Milk– 3-4tbsp
-
Baking powder– a pinch
TOTAL TIME : 15 minutes
STEPS :
For The Pie Base

Combine flour,baking powder, and oregano in a deep Bowl.

Mix in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Add milk ,one tbsp at a time,until dry ingredients are moistened,shape dough into a ball. Divide the dough into two parts to make 2 pie bases.

Roll out on a lightly floured surface to form and cover the inside base of a Clear Bowl (Medium) with this pie base.

Poke some holes on the pie base and microwave by adding some beans on top for 2-3 minutes until light brown.
For white sauce

Put butter in a nonstick pan.Cook flour in it till golden brown. Allow it to cool a little.

Pour in milk white Stirring continuously. Add salt,pepper and mustard powder.
For Quiche

Steam and dry the spinach in a Multicook Strainer.

Put a layer of dried spinach on the baked pie dish followed by a layer of sauteed onions and corn cubs over it.

Spread the white sauce over the vegetables and add some cheese on top.Microwave uncovered for 2 minutes.

Serve hot topped with tabasco sauce.
