INGREDIENTS :
1. All purpose Flour – 460 g
2. Butter – 200 g
3. Salt – 1 tbsp
TOTAL TIME : 25 minutes.
How to make Basic Pie Pastry :
1. In a medium bowl, stir together all purpose flour and salt.
2. Cut the butter into 1 cm cubes and rub into flour untill the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
3. Sprinkle 1 tbsp cold water over part of the flour mixture, gently toss with a fork to mix.
4. Add enough water untill a soft pastry is formed.
5. Cover tightly and put in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
6. Roll out to the required thickness.
7. Bake in a preheated oven to 190 degree C untill light brown.

Thanks for that! My mother recently harvested a garden full of tomatoes , and I find myself the owner of two or five buckets worth!
